- After playing, lightly brush a small amount of Reed Renew on the reed using the included brush before placing it in its case
- Make sure that Reed Renew covers all of the playing portions of the reed. (Double reed players, no need to worry about getting it in between the reeds.)
THAT'S IT! After a few applications, you may find that you no longer need to apply Reed Renew. Your reed will be moist and ready to play without pre-moistening
