Gerry says of this mouthpiece: I work with a lot of bass trombonists, so I am quite sensitive to their needs. While we all love the big sounds of bass trombones, a pompous low register usually equates to a wide-open "false-sounding" upper register. This mouthpiece has a big bass sound in the low register, which is also great in the upper register without sounding too bright.
